Rejoice not over me,
O my enemy;
when I fall, I shall rise . . .

Oh Jeanne, this is beautiful! I love these words from Micah. :)
Thanks so much, Lyn.
Incredible photo! Did you take it?
I did! Thank you. :)
So many places throughout scripture we are reminded that the Lord is light for us. What a wonderful gift.
Yes. Such a comfort.
Such a beautiful of expression of His wonderful truth!
Thank you, Deidra.
I just commented on Susan’s post that I have built my oral testimony around God’s characteristic of light…and I can meditate for hours on the many times and ways His light has led me out of dark places. This reminder is dear to me, dear friend.
Love this, Patricia. I never thought about building my testimony around a concept like this. I just lay out the facts. Thank you for this!
I’m so glad, Patricia! I would love to spend some time with you listening to your story. Love you.
Even the darkness is light to Him!
When I fall, I shall rise. Meditating on that today. xoxo
Thanks, Sandra. Me, too. xo
So far, this is my favorite of Deidra’s Sunday community today (and I’ve been working from the bottom of the list up).
Thanks, Megan. That’s a big and humbling compliment. Lovely Sunday to you.
I love the way God speaks in sacred echoes among his people. We had similar thought on His light penetrating the darkness in our posts. Lovely Jeanne. Thankful for your sensitivity in your writing. It’s inspiring.
Yes, I love that evidence of God’s intimacy, too. It’s so encouraging. Thanks so much for your kind words.
Love this photo..and its perfect for the verse you have chosen.
I think its the bold red and blue that so strongly captures the mind’s attention in this photo. Beautiful composition paired with every Christian’s most dearly held promise.
Thanks, Lisa. I’m so glad the photo spoke to you and adorned this treasured promise.
Oh HE is light in so many areas… for that we are thankful.
Beautiful! Where did you take that picture? I’d love to just sit there for a bit.
