my refuge

Be to me a rock of refuge, to which I may continually come;
you have given the command to save me,
for you are my rock
and my fortress.

Beautiful and powerful verse. Amazing photograph to go with it.

Was just thinking about you last night…knowing that your life is rich, but very, very full. I imagine this verse is especially meaningful to you these rich, full days. Love you, Jeanne.

Yes, He IS my ROCK and FORTRESS. No other definition of our Lord stands out to me more than all of the “rockiness”…. such a faithful and plentiful characteristic we can depend on from now through eternity. Thank you.

Wow, that is some picture. I wonder where you’ve been?

BTW, one of the first things I did when we got back online was listen to and watch “Called Out Your Name” over and again. I love it so… I reckon because He first loved us.

Darlene, what a delight you are! I love that song, too, and it makes me happy that you listen to it again and again.

About this photo, I took it in 2008 from a boat off the coast of a Croatian island in the Adriatic Sea. A stunningly gorgeous place — like being in a dream. So glad you like it.
